Mobile Health Clinics Project for Haiti
AMS proposes to obtain multiple Mobile Medical Vans equipped with items for urgent and primary care serving several regions of Haiti (Leogane, Jacmel, Port-au-Prince, Delmas and other areas affected by the 2010 earthquake). The vans would be deployed bi-weekly with a medical team to address the mental health needs of earthquake survivors with special attention to children The proposal was submitted to both the Ministry of Health and the National Health Committee in Haiti and has also been presented to USAID and health projects grantors in Florida and Washington D.C.
